What can I expect?
When arriving at MPR Health
When you arrive at MRP Health in Roseville, you will be asked to complete a new patient form while waiting in our lovely reception area. This form will provide your practitioner with vital information about you, your health, and, most importantly, what brought you to the clinic.
After you have completed the new patient form, your practitioner will take you into one of our lovely and spacious treatment rooms to begin your appointment.
Assessment
Before we begin treatment, we’ll want to make sure you’re a good candidate. This is done to avoid wasting your time and energy. This evaluation will start with a conversation to get a clear picture, followed by a physical examination to assess any potential injuries.
"We've streamlined everything to ensure all you have to do is focus on getting out of pain."
– Kristopher Sanford M.Ost. Co-owner of MPR Health.

Treatment
All appointments at MPR Health include time allotted for treatment; there is no need to worry about coming in and out for hours with no treatment! Treatment is tailored to the individual and their complaint, but there are a few things to remember.
Because massage is frequently used as part of the treatment, please let us know if you are allergic to any massage oil or cream. Please dress in a way that allows easy access to the area of the body where your complaint is located, if possible. We understand that this isn’t always possible, so we’ll have a spare pair of shorts/gowns available for patients to change into.
Pressure, compression, and joint mobilisation are all examples of treatment methods. The goal could be to improve your range of motion or to alleviate pain. Furthermore, our osteopaths are well-versed in biomechanics, ergonomics, and exercise rehabilitation, all of which will be incorporated into the treatment.
Rehab and exercise
MPR Health places a high value on exercise advice and rehabilitation. Exercise has been shown to be an extremely effective way to improve body function and strength, so we have a whole section dedicated to it.
Our ethos when it comes to exercise and exercise prescription is that all of our prescribed exercises and advice should be simple enough for you to do from the comfort of your own home.
Report and management plans
At the end of their first or second appointment, every new patient at MPR Health will be given a management plan. This plan was created to ensure that you understand what the plan is for getting you from where you are now to where you want to be.
Our practitioners will work together to develop this plan, and if necessary, will send a copy to your primary care physician and any other members of your health care team.
It is critical to us at MPR Health that your health care team works for you and communicates effectively in order to make your life easier and achieve the best results possible.
We are delighted to welcome you to MPR Health.
